David Groff’s third book of poems Live in Suspense, was published in 2023 from Trio House Press. He has previously published Clay, winner of the Louise Bogan Award and Theory of Devolution which was selected for the National Poetry Series and was a finalist for the Lambda Literary and Publishing Triangle awards. He is an accomplished independent editor and a long time guest professor in the MFA program at CCNY. His essays and poems have been widely published and anthologized. He is an activist and cultural worker who co-founded the Publishing Triangle and sat on the board of the Lambda Literary Foundation.
